Hi Vic, Big Thank You from North East. If anyone reading this is looking for the probably the BEST PADI Scuba Instructor, then they have found him in Vic. I Went to The Dominican to complete my Divemaster and came home an Assistant Instructor. How about that! I have no hesitation in recommending Vic to anyone at any level with his sense of humour, kindness and patience he provides first class training. Thanks Vic Estelle Corrected a typo for you Estelle (hope you don't mind)

Thanks Vic for the terrific dives.
My son and I enjoyed the scenery at the "Wall", the "Aquarium", as well as the local dives. I will return in a few months when the water is cooler. After meeting you guys, my eldest daughter decided to complete her course with you, as opposed to the dive school in New York.
Thanks to Charlotte for being such a good hostess. My daughters enjoyed her company quite a bit.
We'll see you soon.

In early October, I made 2 cave dives and 1 night dive with Vic. I had an awesome time as the caves are fantastic and Vic's personal service is second to none (good food too!). The night dive was fantastic as I immediately saw sting rays, octopus, moray eels and the mansion of lobster (at least 9). There were also many types of shrimp and prawn too. Vic did not rush any of our dives and I felt secure in Vic's knowledge and professionalism. If you do wish to dive in the Dominican, I highly recommend the premier services of H2O Diving. Thanks Vic, you made my stay in DR very memorable

what shall I say....fine company, knowledgeable and easy to deal with, value for money if anything! And most certainly for Juan Dolio area. Even while - at least for now - making use of the dive shop in some resort, service and attention are no where near those offered by the shop in question itself. would dive with Vic and his H20 shop anytime, anywhere. Potential divers of Juan Dolio, choose wisely, choose H20. cheers from somewhere cold and grey.... scuba diver M.

Hi Vic,
Thank you for the wonderful week of diving. Cindy and I just completed our 200th dive while diving with you and want to thank you for selecting the best dive sites and allowing us to dive the way we like to. We averaged 60 minutes of bottom time per dive and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. You took wonderful care of us and I highly recommend you to anyone going to Juan Dolio in the DR to dive. I want to also thank you for all the tips you gave us topside that allowed us to enjoy our time out of the water. I wish you continued success and the next time we are in the DR we will definitely be diving with you.
Sincerely,
Bruce and Cindy Moe

Hi Vic,
Thanks a lot for being a great instructor! We spent a winter break in Juan Dolio and got our Open Water Diver certification. It was the best possible way to spend time while it was raining. You were an enormous help and we learned a lot due to diving with you.
Thanks again!

Just thought i would stop by. For anyone looking to go diving in the DR, this is the company to go with. The dive sites are awe inspiring. Vic and Brett were great instructors, and really sparked a passion for diving in me. I can't wait to go again. First timers and experienced divers alike would benefit greatly from diving with these two. Thanks for everything guys Hope to see you soon TJ

I visited the Dominican Republic(DR) in October/November 2008 and had the best experience diving with Vic at H20 Diving. He was very patient and pleasant. The day I dived I happened to be his only student so I had the awesome experience of exploring the bottom of the sea and seeing things I probably would have missed if I had been in a large group. Vic was a great instructor and I have already recommended him to friends who will be diving at the DR.
Thanks for everything Vic. It was great fun!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Vic and wonderful family, Just wanted to let you know that I enjoyed my day with all of you and Catalina Island. My son, Le Grande, took his first dives with you and Brett. It was a day that we will both cherish for many, many years to come. Although I am not a diver, yet!, the experience of that perfect day was another page in my life here in the Dominican Republic. The professionalism you show along with experience makes your company the best on this island. I would and will recommend you to anyone with an interest to explore the diving experience. I should also mention that you also offer snorkelling and arranging a perfect day on the beach at Catalina Island. Thank you again. Patty

I dove with Vic at Catalina Island to both the Wall and the Aquarium. Both were the best dives I've done in the DR. Vic suggested the trip as a way to entertain the non-divers in the family while I was under, and they had a wonderful time waiting on the island while we dove. Vic was with a class, but brought another dive master for the three certified divers in the group. Everything from the initial contact to the end of the dive was handled very calmly and professionally, which is not always easy in the DR. Everyone had a great time, especially me. My only regret was not being able to get out again, but there will be other trips.

Hi everyone reading this. I recently had the opportunity to obtain my scuba diving certification with Vic - over holiday season 2008- and I want to take this moment to give my sincere appreciation! Vic was such an excellent dive master. He was patient with my poor compass use skills and was willing to go over dive tables with me because my academic training didn't cover those skill set. Not only do I look forward to the next time I can scuba dive with Vic but I full heartedly recommend Vic for any scuba diving interest in the Juan Dolio and Santo Domingo area. Anibal D. Thanks again Vic! See you soon!

Before planning our diving trip to Juan Dolio, DR, we did our research and in the end, we had two diving centers to choose from: H2O and Neptuno. Our instinct told us go with H2O, who was led by VIC STEWART. Thank God we did! To begin, our arrival date in Juan Dolio was Dec. 18, 2008. We were well-greeted at the airport by Vic himself. Our diving equipment was in good hands. He is very experienced, patient, and a great sense of humor - we had an excellent time. We highly recommend his services and we would dive with H2O/Vic anywhere in the world, if the opportunity arises. On a personal note, we had the pleasure of meeting Vic's lovely family (Rachel, Charlotte, Ethean and the pooches) Hi you guys - we miss you all!!!! Johanne and Alain Montréal, Québec

I just wanted to leave a comment about my SPECTACULAR experience diving with both Vic and Bret! My friends and I just returned home from a weekend trip to the Dominican Republic, where I spent two days getting my Open Water certification. I had such a wonderful time with h2odiving - every bit of the experience was nothing short of being totally fun, educational and safe.
As a nervous first-time diver, I wasn't sure what to expect and was full of questions about the process and about booking my sessions and the excursion to Catalina. Vic patiently answered all of my questions via email (trust me, there were A LOT of questions) and made me feel really secure and confident about doing my first dives with him.
When we finally met to go diving, both Vic and Bret were very charming, patient, funny and kind. I highly recommend them to anyone that wants to go diving within the area they are willing to cover. It was such a relief to have them as our guides, as they were very attentive and accommodating to everything we requested, and very willingly moved at a pace that was comfortable for us. It also helps that they are honestly really fun to be around and we missed them on the final days of our vacation.
Vic and Bret - I really hope that we can all dive together again soon and keep up the GREAT work! You guys are wonderful!!

I would highly recommend H20 diving to anyone interested in getting an open water certification or going on a dive excursion. My friend I arrived last minute in Juan Dolio and Vic was incredibly accomodating and helpful. He is a great teacher and really explains things well to students.
For our last two open water dives we decided on an excursion to Catalina Island. The dives there were really unbelievable and Vic did a great job of making sure that we got our skills done and also got to see why diving is so amazing. If you do an open water certification with H20 I highly recommend doing the dive at Catalina.
All in all our experience with H20 was great! I would highly recommed H20 for certification or excursions! Thanks, Vic!

I came with a friend to the DR to get my scuba certification and found Vic to be not only a great instructor but also a truly caring, sincere, and honest person! He also has a great, great sense of humor. His patience and encouragement made me feel confident in myself as a diver despite sometimes having trouble with certain tasks or skills. Vic went above and beyond his duties as an instructor, always ready to offer advice that made our trip in the DR more economical and enjoyable.
Also, I would HIGHLY recommend the Catalina trip - it was by far the best money we spent on our trip - I will always remember the diving, food, and gorgeous beach! I recommend Vic with utmost confidence to anyone looking for an educational yet carefree and enjoyable experience diving in the DR!
Thanks Vic!

Hey Vic, Brett, Rachel - we had a fantastic time. I would recommend that anyone coming to the D.R. look you up. The local dives were a wonder of soft corals and sea fans. The Catalina Island dives were great! Best of all was the warmth you showed us and the professionalism of the instruction you gave my son during his Junior Advanced course. You put us all at ease - not always and easy trick w/ Sheri - and showed us a great time. Thanks. P.S. Since you know I'm a six-pack kind of guy, I really loved the size of the boat. It was perfect for our small group.

Our snorkeling trip to Catalina Island this past Friday was by far the highlight of our trip!
Vic shared with us great hospitality and professionalism.
We snorkeled with Vic and were surprised at his extensive expertise and knowledge of the beauties of the Caribbean. We really felt like kids again by experiencing the simple pleasures of life.
My wife and I felt very safe and welcomed the entire trip and would definitely recommend Vic to anyone. We actually have recommended Vic to the big school in Santo Domingo's Principal and family.
Thanks again!
P.S. I never thought cliff jumping could be so much fun. ;DI think my buddy and I broke the record of 6 times.

Hi Vic, It's about time I finally said my peace. I have had the best winter and adventure of my life. I went to Catalina 15 times this winter because of you! You personally introduced my son (26) to scuba this past Christmas, which was a day we will never forget, ever! You always called to include me in any plans you had to Catalina, which you knew I would go because that is my island within an island. The people of this country are amazing. Thank you so much for everything you and your family have introduced me to. For all of you who were along for the trip each time, I am so glad to have met each and everyone of you! Vic and Brett you have always been the most professional, caring and fun every time. Yeah, so I still won't cliff jump but I try to take good pictures of all of you. I don't scuba, I don't snorkel but I love the island and the day so much that I never said no to going for the day, any time. For anyone who is on this site, let me tell you, you cannot get a more professional team (and if you are lucky, a great tour guide thrown in for free . Thank you, again and again. You and your family are so loved. To anyone wanting to go diving, call Vic first, before you listen to your "resort" people, because this is the real deal and so professional. They take care of you from start to finish. Safe, reliable and from what my son says, the nicest guys he has ever met. 3 amigos cliff jumping. Just go with that and you will understand the most fullfilling day you will ever have. If your family does not dive, the day is still taken care of and so full! The best experience you will ever have. The people on the island are also amazing. You can't miss this opportunity, really.

I had an awesome time Diving with Victor. I did my Advanced Open Water course over the weekend and enjoyed it very much. I learned alot from Victor. He teaches at a safe comfortable pace and helps out with any questions or inconsistencies in and out of the water before and during the dives. Water was a little choppy one day for one of the dives, but it only makes the dive that much more exciting. My first time diving down in the Dominican Republic and I loved it. Will definitely dive again when I go back on vacation to visit. I live in New York and my trip to Dominican Republic was that much more enjoyable thanks to Victor!
Thanks for Everything Victor!
Would definitely Recommend!

MANY MANY thanks to Vic, Bret and Charlotte. A WONDERFUL TRIP
We planned a trip to the Dominican Republic from Texas (USA) in October 2009 and wanted to suba dive while we were there. H20 came highly recommended so we booked 5 people for the Catalina trip. 2 of the group already had PADI Open Water - but 3 needed to take PADI Discover Scuba Diving. Vic and Bret were EXCELLENT instructors. They communicated with us very clearly, and gave us all the information we needed. They both extremely professional and I know that all of our party felt comfortable with Vian and Bret and very confident in their skills. The 2 PADI Open Water certified members of our group actually dived a few days earlier, with another scuba company that is based at the Barcelo Capella in Juan Dolio - and they reported that Vic and Bret at H20 were MUCH better as guides and instructors.
Catalina was wonderful. The facilities and food on the island were great. My only regret is that we didn't have much time to chill out and enjoy that island; but that was because some of our group did 2 dives so there just wasn't a lot of time left in the day. I could easily have spent the whole day sitting on the beach and watching the waves - but then we wouldn't have the lasting memories of diving off this beautiful island.
We intend to be regular visitors to the DR and we will CERTAINLY return to dive with Vic and Bret at H20 whenever we get a chance.
Thanks! Andrew
